  • Vers la fin des années 1960, un homme, David Rodinsky, disparaît : la pièce qu'il occupait au-dessus de la petite synagogue de Princelet Street, dans le quartier de Whitechapel à Londres, restera intacte pendant plus de dix ans. L'univers de Rodinsky était celui des Juifs d'Europe de l'Est, un monde nourri des mystères de la Kabbale, où les langues et leurs secrets étaient une source inépuisable de magie.
